GetSpaPOS
Flat-lay of a manicure station with polish bottles graded from jade to coral, gold tools and a coral gift card

A nail salon POS system for the way nail salons run.

Walk-ins, turns, two technicians on one client, a tip to split and a color to sell. GetSpaPOS was designed around that ticket.

Built for the salons that make up the trade

Most US nail salons are independent, run by owners who also work a chair, with a team of five to fifteen technicians and a large share of walk-ins. Many owners and technicians speak Vietnamese first; in New York and New Jersey many owners are Korean-American, and Spanish-speaking technicians work across the country.

Industry background: Colorlines, citing Nails Magazine data.

  • Screens in their languageTiếng Việt, 한국어, Español and more, per person.
  • Unlimited techniciansFrom the Salon plan at $79 a month.
  • Walk-ins firstThe turn list is on the home screen, not hidden in a menu.

A nail salon day, step by step.

  1. 1

Before 10 am: the turn list is set

Technicians clock in, the turn list follows clock-in order, and today's bookings are already on the calendar. The front desk tablet is the whiteboard now.

    Opening

  2. 2

Rush hour: walk-ins and bookings together

Walk-ins go to whoever is next and free. Booked clients go to their technician. Polish changes count as half a turn if that is your rule.

    11 am to 3 pm

  3. 3

Checkout: two techs, one tip, one gift card

Pedicure and manicure by different technicians, a tip split by service value, part paid with a gift card, the rest by card through your processor.

    Every ticket

  4. 4

    Retail at the desk

The client buys the color she loved. Stock drops, the tech gets product commission if you pay it, and the receipt prints in her language.

    Add-on sales

  5. 5

    Close-out: drawer, tips, commission

Close the register, pay out the day's card tips in cash if that is how you do it, and the week's commission is ready for payroll.

    End of day

Run your own numbers

Nail salon owners ask us.

  1. Salon ownerWhat is the best POS system for a nail salon?
    GetSpaPOS

The best nail salon POS system handles walk-in turns, multi-technician tickets, commission and tip splitting without extra tools, and is priced so a salon with many technicians is not penalised. GetSpaPOS is built around exactly those jobs and priced per location, with unlimited staff from the Salon plan.

  2. Salon ownerCan my technicians use GetSpaPOS in Vietnamese?
    GetSpaPOS

Yes. Each person picks their own screen language: Vietnamese, English, Spanish, Korean, Arabic or Urdu. Receipts can print in a different language from the screen.

  3. Salon ownerDoes it work for a small 4-chair salon?
    GetSpaPOS

Yes. The Starter plan covers up to 5 staff and one location for $39 a month. Move to Salon when you hire more.

  4. Salon ownerCan I take card payments?
    GetSpaPOS

Yes. Card payments go through your own payment processor and card reader. GetSpaPOS records the payment and the tip on the ticket. Ask on your demo about the processor you use today.

  5. Salon ownerWhat about cash-heavy salons?
    GetSpaPOS

Cash is a normal payment type with a cash drawer and a drawer count at close. Cash tips can be recorded on the ticket so each technician's tip total is complete.

  6. Salon ownerCan I see which technician sells the most?
    GetSpaPOS

Yes. Reports show sales, services, tips, turns and retail per technician for any date range.

  7. Salon ownerWill it remember a client's favorite color?
    GetSpaPOS

Yes. The client profile keeps service history and notes, so you can write "Coral 14, almond, short" and see it next visit.

  8. Salon ownerDo I need new hardware?
    GetSpaPOS

Usually not. A tablet or computer you already own runs it. Common receipt printers and cash drawers work. See the hardware guide.

  9. Salon ownerHow long does it take to switch?
    GetSpaPOS

A typical salon is set up in under an hour, and we import your client list and services from a spreadsheet for free.

Run your salon on it this week.

Add your technicians, set your turn rules and ring up a Saturday's worth of practice tickets in the free trial.
