Business settings apply to every location unless a location overrides them.
Steps
- Go to Settings > Business settings.
- Enter your salon or spa name and upload your logo (square works best on receipts).
- Choose your currency: USD, AED, PKR or another.
- Set your financial year start and the date format.
- Under Tax, add your tax rate(s). Combine rates into a tax group if, for example, a state and a city rate both apply.
- Choose the receipt language and what the receipt shows (address, tax number, thank-you line).
Country notes
- United States: add your state and local sales tax rates; many services are not taxed while retail is. Check with your state.
- UAE: set VAT at 5%, choose VAT-inclusive prices, and add your TRN so it prints on tax invoices.
- Pakistan: add your provincial sales tax rate on services and your registration number if required.
